Abby is making a big impact on the English Department at UCCS, and it looks like she will go on to make a big impact in the world beyond! Phillip Heasley is an instructor in the UCCS Rhetoric and Writing program where teaches courses in developmental writing, writing and rhetoric, and research writing. Through engaged study of diverse texts and contexts, we foster a love of language, critical research, respect for evidence, thinking at multiple levels and across multiple genres, and strong close reading. Many of our graduates have gone on to teaching careers in elementary education, secondary education, special education, and higher education. Best Practices and co-authored four texts on adventure sports. David Diamond teaches courses on seventeenth- and eighteenth-century British literature. She teaches a variety of introductory courses in literature, including an essential and required Introduction to Literary Studies course; British literature of the seventeenth and vreative century; Writjng literature; an Inclusivity course for the Compass Curriculum on Global Women Story Tellers and a Sustainability course on Uccs Stewardship and the Management of the Estate in literature.

English Creative Writing Minor
Her focus has been on topics of language, power, and difference and on issues surrounding the food industry. Her most recent publication explores the iccs between students’ beliefs about knowledge and their argumentative writing strategies. Friday, February 1, Time: To cultivate that expertise, a strong undergraduate creativee emphasizes a wide range of study in literature and other disciplines to provide students with the foundation they need to become resourceful—as readers, as intellectuals, and as writers.
Additionally, our graduates have found careers in business, technical writing, publishing, creative writing, law, journalism, non-profit foundations, government, and library sciences, among others.
